New works and news from Australian sculpture artist Bob Gilmour. Bob is based near Port Douglas in the tropical north of the country and creates curvaceous forms and sculpture in wood and other media.

Art Functional Bowl in Ti Tree Burl

I have just recently finished this fine bowl as an art-functional piece. It has been commissioned as a salad bowl. The wood is burl from the Black Swamp Ti Tree.

To complete the commission, I have still to create a pair of complementing salad servers.
